Who runs Prop Firm Scout
Prop Firm Scout is run by Maor. Maor is 31 and has been trading futures for 4 years, mainly at My Funded Futures, Take Profit Trader, Apex Trader Funding, Alpha Futures and Lucid Trading.
There is no photo here on purpose: the site is about the firms' prices and rules, which you can check yourself from the sources we link.
Why this site exists
Futures prop firm prices, discount codes and rules change often and are spread over many pages, help centers and checkout screens. Prop Firm Scout puts them for 14 firms in one place, each with the date we checked it and a link to the official source, so you can compare before you pay.
How we make money
- Some links and codes are affiliate or partner links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Today that is FundedNext Futures, Top One Futures, Alpha Futures, Elite Trader Funding and Phidias Propfirm, and the TradingView link on the trading tools page.
- Partner status never changes rankings, "Best for" tags, the cheapest lists, the compare tool or the True Cost Index: they all follow fixed rules over the same data for every firm, so a firm we do not partner with can come first.

How the data is collected
- Prices and codes: read on each firm's official site every day by our checks (in a normal browser for firms that block simpler checks), or checked by hand where even that is blocked. A changed price is published only after two matching reads; big moves wait for a manual check.
- Dates: every price shows when it was last checked. When a price cannot be confirmed we hide it instead of showing an old number.
- Rules: from the firms' rules pages and help centers; the pages are re-read every week and changes are reviewed.
- Records: the price history, the rule change log, Prop Firm Updates and the monthly True Cost Index are built only from what our checks recorded.
- Corrections: when something is wrong we fix it, and the change shows up in those records with its date.
